Here's some depressing news.. the few times Winnipeg has had at least 10 cm of snow on the ground on Halloween (e.g. 1971, 1972), the snow stuck around for the winter. Oh joy!
In 1995, we had a 13 cm snowfall on Nov 1st, and the snow didn't leave until the end of April!
I sure hope that El Nino kicks in big time this year! (apologies to you snow lovers out there!)
